Note: Failure to meet these requirements may result in immediate cancellation of participation in the tour, with no refund.

– Cash
– Credit or debit card, subject to an additional 4% fee.
Note: Failure to pay the remaining balance before the start of the tour may result in the cancellation of the reservation and loss of the spot, with no refund.
3. SECURITY DEPOSIT
To ensure coverage for potential damage to the motorcycles during the tour, a security deposit is mandatory before the tour begins.
Deposit amounts:
- One-day tours: 600 USD.
- Multi-day tours: 1000 USD.
Use of the deposit:
- The security deposit is used to cover any damage caused to the motorcycle during the tour.

- If the damages exceed the deposit amount, the participant will be responsible for covering the excess.
Refunds:
- The deposit will be refunded at the end of the tour if no damage is registered to the motorcycle.
- The refund may take up to 10 business days, depending on the type of card used for payment.
- Cash deposits are also accepted in USD, EUR, or COP, depending on the participant’s preference.

At Pan American Riders, the safety and well-being of our participants are our top priorities. Therefore, we reserve the right to modify or adjust tour itineraries due to unforeseen circumstances, such as weather changes, natural disasters, traffic issues, or other situations beyond our control. These changes will not entitle participants to refunds, as our priority is to ensure the safety and well-being of everyone involved.
Route Changes
The tour leader has the authority to modify the route if weather, road conditions, or any other factors make it unsafe or impractical to continue.
If the tour takes longer than expected, the leader may decide to return earlier than planned to ensure the group reaches their accommodations by 5:00 p.m., allowing participants adequate rest.
Routes and schedules are flexible, but we will always prioritize the safety and positive experience of our participants.
Behavior During the Tour
All participants must strictly follow the safety instructions provided by the tour leader.
Any participant who fails to follow instructions, behaves dangerously, or endangers others will be immediately removed from the tour without a refund.
Cancellation Due to Inability to Ride
If at the start of the tour, the group leader observes that a participant does not have the necessary skills to operate high-displacement motorcycles safely, and this poses a risk to the group or the participant themselves, the tour will be canceled without a refund.
For this reason, we ask participants to confirm their prior riding experience before making a reservation.
Our commitment is to offer safe, exciting, and memorable tours, always prioritizing the safety of each participant.
6. RESPONSIBILITY AND BEHAVIOR
Awareness of Risks
All participants must be aware that participating in a motorcycle tour involves inherent risks, such as accidents, personal injuries, and damage to the motorcycle.
Acceptance of Risks: By participating, each participant fully accepts these risks and releases Pan American Riders from any liability for damages, personal injuries, or accidents that may occur during the tour, except in cases of direct negligence by the company staff.
Exclusion of Liability for Personal Belongings
Pan American Riders is not responsible for the loss, damage, or theft of personal items during the tour. It is each participant’s responsibility to keep their belongings secure and under their care at all times.
Participants are encouraged to bring only essential items and use secure bags or backpacks.
Staff Instructions
All participants must strictly follow the instructions provided by Pan American Riders staff, including safety guidelines, group riding instructions, and any necessary adjustments during the tour.
Participants are required to comply with the decisions of the guide and team throughout the tour, especially in situations affecting safety or the itinerary.
Traffic Signals and Legal Regulations
Participants must adhere to all traffic signals and Colombian traffic laws during the tour.
If a participant violates traffic laws resulting in a fine imposed by authorities, the fined rider will be solely responsible for covering the cost of the penalty or any other legal or financial consequences.
Noncompliance with these rules may impact the tour’s development, and Pan American Riders reserves the right to exclude from the tour any participant who violates laws or poses a risk to the group’s safety.
Behavior During the Tour
If a participant fails to demonstrate sufficient ability to safely operate the motorcycle or poses a risk to others, Pan American Riders reserves the right to cancel their participation immediately without a refund.
Any attitude or action endangering the group’s safety or the participant’s own will result in immediate exclusion from the tour.
Participants must respect the group’s rules, avoiding behaviors that negatively impact the experience or safety of others.
Violations of traffic signals, guide instructions, or inappropriate behavior will lead to the immediate cancellation of participation without a refund.
Our priority is to ensure the safety and best possible experience for all riders by respecting the rules, established protocols, and legal regulations.
7. ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF RISKS
Participants must be aware that motorcycle tours involve inherent risks, such as:
- Adverse weather conditions (rain, fog, extreme temperatures).
- Uneven terrain (unpaved roads, sharp curves, steep inclines).
- Unpredictable external factors (traffic, animals on the road, landslides, among others).
By participating in a tour, each traveler accepts these risks as part of the adventure experience and releases Pan American Riders from any liability related to them, except in cases of direct negligence by the company.
While we take every possible measure to ensure participants’ safety, it is impossible to completely eliminate the risks associated with riding motorcycles on adventure routes.
8. PHYSICAL AND MENTAL CONDITIONS
Declaration of Fitness: All participants must declare that they are in a physical and mental condition suitable to participate in the tour. This includes the ability to operate high-displacement motorcycles for extended periods and in challenging road conditions.
Notification of Medical Conditions:
- It is mandatory to disclose any relevant medical conditions, physical limitations, or mental health issues at the time of booking.
- Pan American Riders will evaluate whether the disclosed condition represents a risk to the participant or the group.
Physical Preparation:
- Tours may involve long hours of riding under variable conditions.
- Participants should be physically prepared for the effort this entails.
Participant Responsibility: If a participant fails to disclose a condition that subsequently affects their ability to complete the tour or poses a risk to the group, Pan American Riders reserves the right to cancel their participation without a refund.
Note:
The safety and well-being of participants are our priority, and we carefully evaluate these conditions before and during the tour to ensure a positive and safe experience for everyone.
9. INSURANCE
Pan American Riders provides basic insurance with limited coverage for participants during the tour, which includes certain accidents related to the activity.
This insurance does not cover all risks associated with motorcycle tours, such as personal injuries, extensive medical emergencies, or evacuations.
We strongly recommend that all tourists, especially international ones, obtain comprehensive international medical insurance that includes accident coverage, emergency evacuations, repatriation, and coverage in Colombia.
Any costs arising from accidents or incidents not covered by the provided insurance will be the sole responsibility of the participant.
10. PROTECTIVE GEAR
One-day tours: Pan American Riders will provide basic protective gear, including a helmet, jacket, and gloves. Availability of sizes and units is limited. The use of this equipment is mandatory throughout the tour.
Multi-day tours: As these tours involve longer durations and greater adventure, participants are strongly encouraged to bring their own personal protective gear. Such gear must meet appropriate safety standards to ensure adequate protection during the tour.
11. CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellation by the participant:
If a participant decides to cancel their tour, they must notify Pan American Riders at least 15 days prior to the tour’s start date. In this case, the amount paid will be refunded, excluding the non-refundable booking fee.
Cancellations made within 15 days of the tour start date will not be refunded, and the total cost of the tour will be retained as a penalty.
Failure to attend the tour (no-show) without prior notice will result in no refund.
Cancellation by Pan American Riders:
Pan American Riders reserves the right to cancel a tour due to force majeure, such as extreme weather conditions, natural disasters, or emergencies that may jeopardize participants’ safety.
In the event of cancellation by Pan American Riders, participants will receive a full refund of the amount paid, including the booking fee.
Refunds:
Refunds will be processed within up to 10 business days following the cancellation or modification. Refunds will be issued using the same payment method as the reservation, and any additional transaction fees (if applicable) will not be covered.
No refunds will be issued for cancellations made within 15 days of the tour.
12. USE OF IMAGES AND VIDEOS
By participating in Pan American Riders tours, participants grant their consent to be photographed and recorded during the tour.
Images and videos may be used by Pan American Riders for promotional, advertising, and social media purposes without additional compensation or prior authorization from participants.
All images and videos generated during the tour are the exclusive property of Pan American Riders. Participants are not permitted to use these images or videos for commercial or promotional purposes without explicit authorization from Pan American Riders.
Pan American Riders is not responsible for any inconvenience arising from the use of images or videos during the tour, including but not limited to privacy issues or image rights.
Participants who do not wish to be photographed or recorded must inform the tour leader at the time of booking or at the start of the tour. Reasonable efforts will be made to honor such requests, though it cannot be guaranteed that all images or videos will exclude the participant.
13. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS AND CONDITIONS
By booking a tour with Pan American Riders, participants agree to and commit to abiding by all the terms and conditions outlined in this document.
Pan American Riders reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Changes will take effect once published on the Pan American Riders website or communicated through other means. Participants are responsible for regularly reviewing the terms and conditions to stay informed of updates.
Participants must sign a liability waiver before starting the tour, acknowledging and accepting the inherent risks of participating.
Personal data provided by participants during the booking process will be handled in accordance with Pan American Riders’ privacy policy, available on the website. Participants consent to the use of their data for tour operations and the promotional purposes described above.
14. LEGAL JURISDICTION
The terms and conditions outlined here, as well as any disputes arising from participation in Pan American Riders tours, will be governed by the laws of the Republic of Colombia.
Any conflict, dispute, or claim related to these terms and conditions or tour participation will be resolved exclusively in the competent courts of Manizales, Colombia.
The parties agree that any disputes related to the tours will be addressed under Colombian legal procedures. Efforts will be made to resolve conflicts amicably before resorting to legal action.
